Graduation is an exciting season for high school seniors everywhere, but at College Track sites across the country, it's a time to reflect on extraordinary achievements. A majority of College Track students grow up in low-income neighborhoods, often facing steep obstacles on the road to high school graduation. Many are first-generation high school graduates, and a vast majority are the first in their families to attend college.

At each of the nine College Track sites, we honor these achievements with a special Launch to College ceremony. Students and their families gather to celebrate and honor four years of hard work behind them and the adventures that pave the road ahead. At the Launch to College event in San Francisco, students shared reflections on this special moment.

How has a mentor impacted your education journey?

Now that you have graduated, what is your biggest challenge?

At Emerson Collective, we believe in the potential that lives in the minds of all students.
